Limited Edition Poster

A four colour screenprinted poster produced as part of the exhibition and to accompany the installation.

This poster and the installation of the same title explore a visual language of recycled, fragmented forms, which the artist has developed especially for the Latest Edition project. Referencing the architecture of the Bellamy Pavilion, Kirkleatham and other local Modernist buildings, these geometric forms play out through a series of colourful rectangular shapes that weave in and out, overlapping one another. While in the installation these shapes take their form as small flags, here the artist has reworked the imagery in an attempt to draw out a kind of symmetrically flawed beauty.
